episode #32: money - the trigger you can't avoid

do you want to struggle, or do you want to thrive?
pow pow power

Growing up in borderline poverty really makes any conversation about money uncomfortable. Couple that with adventuring into online business ownership, and money becomes a trigger you can’t avoid.

It’s different when it’s in your control and not your parents; money is no longer this far-away thing that seems to run everything, but instead this soul-clenching energy you never seem to have enough of. It’s always on your mind, stressing you out.

Well. I’ve learned a few things about money as I’ve aged in this life.

In recent years, I’ve realized money can be everything to one person and nothing to the next, it’s all just perspective. Money can be the driving force or it can be the after-effect, it’s all just energy. Money can fall endlessly into one’s lap while another has to work tirelessly just to get a buck, it’s all just timing.

Regardless of your circumstance, in our society money is the chosen tool of choice to exchange services with each other. You can do something for me I either can’t or don’t want to do, and in exchange I give you X amount of tools ($$$) to use for whatever you want. You will then exchange it for whatever services you need, and so on and so forth.

Following this perspective of money being a tool has been helping me release the stronghold my childhood had on me. My childhood was hard for many reasons, but money was a big one. Seeing your parents struggling to take care of themselves and whole other human beings does something to you subconsciously. It makes you do whatever it takes to not have the same thing happen to you. And then you realize (at least for me), at the end of the day we are all responsible for our own lives.

I talk about this so much - we, you, me… I am responsible for my own life; you are responsible for your life. As an adult, you are responsible for yourself. At a certain point, you have to take that responsibility seriously.

Do you want to struggle?

Or, do you want to thrive?

If you want to thrive, what are the things you need to do to thrive?

This looks different for everyone. We are all unique in our own ways, so of course we’re all going to have different paths to living a life that feels good, where it feels balanced, where it feels like we are thriving and aren’t struggling to live, we aren’t struggling to exchange this tool for whatever we need. This tool just naturally comes to you… to me, because I know what I need to do to get it.

And you know what the kicker is? The beautiful thing about this life is? We are born with the answers of what we need to do. Literally imprinted in the sky the moment we are born, exactly what we need to do to thrive, to stay balanced, healthy, feeling good. All we have to do is look at that map and boom… it tells you the story right there, gives you the tools right there.

It’s fucking sweet.

Let me give you a bit of an example: for me, the planet Saturn who represents time, restrictions, and lessons, is a big planet for me as it sits right in my second house of finances, personal resources, and my worth. Saturn also being retrograde (appearing in the sky as moving backwards rather than forwards) means my financial situation is going to take a long time to get situated. Saturn also represents discipline and focus, so I know those are big things for me in order to get my personal finances in order. I also have the South Node in my second house; the South Node is all about karma and what I need to let go of in this life that I brought into from a past life.

So, I know for me, things are going to take time (case in point with my childhood); and it’s going to require true discipline and courage and the mental focus to do what I need to do to thrive. Of course with Saturn being retrograde, I procrastinate a ton, I know that’s a big flaw for me and it’s one of the big things holding me back. So, I can take this knowledge and I can either continue to struggle, continue to live the way I’ve been living and procrastinate until the last second and not be consistent with my work and yes, continue to struggle with money. Or… I can ask for help, and do the things I must do every single day to thrive.

Mentality is such a big thing when it comes to money, so like I said following the perspective of viewing money as a tool and using the tools wisely the way I’m meant to use them, has helped me release the struggle my childhood imprinted on me.

Whether you grew up like me, or you grew up in a stable environment, it’s important every single one of us knows who we are and what we need to stay healthy, balanced, at peace, and thriving. That is more important than money.

Luckily, we were all born with this information, it just needs to be accessed and read correctly.

Even more luckily, I’ve dedicated the last year and a half to figuring out how to access and decode that information. In fact, I’m dedicating my life to providing this service. This is the service I provide in exchange for monetary tools.

So… I’m committing to a new way of using money as a tool. I learned this from a trusted mentor who does her absolute best to provide access for every single person, and I’m following in her footsteps.

So, I’m offering my services (where you know who you are and you know what you need to do to be healthy, balanced, at peace, and thriving in life) in multiple price points based on your financial circumstances. There’s the standard fee, the supported fee for those whose economic circumstances are limited, and the pay-it-forward fee for those who want to support me (and know who they are) and support those whose economic circumstances are limited.

We all deserve to eat and have our cake too (literally and metaphorically), and this is my way of making that happen. Again: we all deserve to know who the fuck we are and what we need to thrive in this life. We are here to learn lessons and grow… so wouldn’t it be nice to have some sort of foundation to go off of?

By offering my services with multiple price points, I’m trusting you are honest about your financial circumstances, just like you trust me to provide quality service and accurate information on what you need to thrive.

We’re all healing together.

We’re all healing our money stories together. Our medical stories together. Our mental stories together. Our emotional stories together. Our spiritual stories together.

You don’t have to do this alone.
